Meet the Bone Riders of Asterville
Andrea "Drew" Harlow:
Our plucky protagonist, Drew is a vet school dropout with an ex-boyfriend who won't leave her alone and a job that bores her to tears. She also has a real tendency to get herself in trouble, as the protagonist usually does.

Fiona Cahill:
Reluctant de-facto leader of the Riders. No one is really sure where (or when) she's from, but most have the good sense to be afraid of her. She trains horses for a living and prefers them to people.

Bennett Abernathy:
One of the most experienced Riders in the group, Bennett is a scholar at heart who enjoys exploring the mysteries of magic and death. He handles most of the planning and logistics for the group.

August Langford:
He looks like he surfs, but hey, it's a landlocked state. August likes fast cars, big trucks, electronic gizmos, and lassoing things. Despises sitting in chairs.

Luis Ordoñez:
Luis is one of the most experienced Riders. Really, he does half the work around here because Fiona can't communicate, and Bennett has his nose in a book. He builds handmade furniture and enjoys colorful shirts and reggae music.

Valerie Kirchner:
A double-serving of aggression trapped in a 5'2" body, like a lot of cute things, she'll kill you. She's still in college, so she's the baby of the group. Her hobbies include field hockey, her sorority, and making people cry.

Trish Ridley:
Your friendly neighborhood hippie, Trish is always full of warm advice and kindness. She's a gardener and florist who enjoys band T-shirts, crocheting, and the ocean.

Kevin Ellison:
Kevin is a hardworking, straitlaced guy devoted to his wife and two little girls. He has a strong sense of duty and responsibility that occasionally makes it hard for him to be flexible.
Horse: Zephyr
Helen Porter:
Helen is the unofficial historian for the Riders, since she happened to notice they didn't have one. She likes charts, statistics, and doing things right the first time.

Della Cantrell:
Della and her husband, Sean, live a few hours away from the rest of the group, so they mostly work independently. Della's bubbly personality in no way inhibits her from kicking butt when necessary (or just for fun).

Sean Cantrell:
Sean and his wife, Della, live a few hours away from the rest of the group, so they mostly work independently. As a retired forest ranger, he enjoys the solitude of the woods because people talk too much.
Horse: Kola
Gideon Dawsey:
We haven't met Gideon yet because he's somewhere in South America doing a year abroad in an area without a Rider presence, but we hope he's back soon.
